PHP 8.2 stops getting security fixes on Dec 31, 2026. If your business runs on an older PHP app or a custom WordPress or WooCommerce plugin, I upgrade it to PHP 8.4 for a fixed price, and I prove it works by running it.
Scanners like PHPCompatibility and Rector miss failures that take sites down. In my practice upgrades of open-source projects (run on PHP 8.3):
- a login system where "delete avatar" silently failed while the scanner reported 0 issues
- a WooCommerce plugin that activated fine, then returned server errors on 18 of 19 admin requests
HOW IT WORKS
1. You send a working copy: code plus a database export. Never your live site.
2. I run it on PHP 8.4 with full error reporting and click through your key flows.
3. I upgrade the libraries first, then your code.
4. The same test runs again. You get before and after error lists, the code changes and a rollback plan.
WHICH PACKAGE
Basic: check-up and fixed quote. Standard: one small app or plugin. Premium: a CodeIgniter 3 or custom MVC app. Bigger systems get a custom offer after the check-up.
NOT INCLUDED unless quoted: new WordPress or WooCommerce APIs (like HPOS), replacing abandoned SDKs, writing new tests.

FAQ
Do you need access to my live site?
No. I work on a copy: your code plus a database export, or a staging site. Testing never touches your live site.
What if my database has customer data?
Please remove or replace personal data in the export if you can. Tell me before sending if it holds health or payment data, and we'll agree how to handle it.
Which systems do you work with?

My app is bigger than the Premium package. What then?
Order the Basic check-up. I'll send a custom offer here on Fiverr with a fixed price, split into milestones.
Is the $300 check-up credited if I order the upgrade?
Yes. If you order the upgrade within 30 days of the check-up, I'll send you a custom offer with the $300 deducted.
Will you deploy the upgrade to my server?
Deployment is not included. You get the upgraded code and a step-by-step deployment and rollback plan. If you need help going live, ask and I'll quote it separately. Please don't paste passwords in messages.
What happens if something breaks after delivery?
For 14 days after delivery, I fix any problem in the tested flows that the upgrade caused, at no extra cost, here on Fiverr.
