I will mix and master your metal songs professionally

Über diesen Service
Do you want your music to sound bigger and heavier? Do you want thick, crunchy guitars, up-front vocals, and punchy drums?
If so, you've come to the right place. I'll mix and master your metal songs so they sound exactly they way you want them to. You want clean? I've got it. You want filthy? I've got that too.
Why me?
I've been at metal shows, throwing myself into the mosh pit and headbanging enough for future me to regret it. I know what metal is about, and I'm able to combine that passion with the knowledge and calm intentionality you'd expect from an engineer. The gallery speaks for itself.
If you're looking to have a full EP or LP/album mixed and mastered, message me and I can make you a custom offer, complete with a nice big bulk discount.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to message me!

FAQ
How should multitracks be sent?
For all tracks in general, file should be lossless (WAV, FLAC) and at a consistent bit depth and sample rate. All tracks should be consolidated (run the full length of the song), dry and raw (aside from edits), and named according to their instrument.
How should vocal tracks be sent?
Vocals should be sent without compression, EQ, or delay/reverb, and each layer should have its own track and be named accordingly (e.g. leads and harmonies are labelled separately). Note that this service does not include pitch correction or time alignment.
How should guitar/bass tracks be sent?
Ideally, both amped and DI tracks should be sent, but if only 1 is possible then DI is preferred. Each layer should have its own track and be named accordingly (e.g. lead, harmony, rhythm)
How should MIDI drums be sent?
MIDI drums should be rendered out before send-off. It is very important that MIDI drums stems are rendered (e.g. kick, snare, overheads) instead of one stereo file, and it is important that these stems are rendered simultaneously (MIDI drums usually pick samples slightly randomly).
How should live drums be sent?
Drum shells should have trigger tracks even if you don't want drum samples as it makes bleed easier to deal with. All tracks should be in phase. Shells and overheads are mandatory, room mics are strongly recommended.
Does this service include editing/tuning?
No, although I do intend to open a dedicated editing service soon. In the mean time, if you need editing/tuning done you should look elsewhere on fiverr or do it yourself.
What gear/plugins do you use?
For my DAW, I use REAPER 7. I work entirely in the box, and I use plugins from a very wide range of developers including UAD, Neural DSP, Fabfilter, Melda Productions and many others. I use Stephen Slate VSX for monitoring, connected via a Behringer UMC22 Interface.
