Meeting clients and getting briefs with the Pre-production team to discuss Visual effects or motion graphic parts of the script and to determine time frames. • Attending shoots and supervising VFX components by offering important input that will streamline the post-production process. • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly digital design programs such as Autodesk Maya, V-Ray, Nuke, Adobe After Effects, Mocha, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, PF Track, etc. • Create visual effects sequences with 3D elements composited into actual real-life footage. • Creatively combining layers of previously-created material, including rendered computer animation, Rendered Multi-Pass Sequences, special effects, graphics, 2D & 3D animation, live action, and static background plates to ensure the established style of the project is respected and continuity is maintained. • Modelling 3D assets, creating 3D animations, Lighting, and Rendering of CG elements to the client's requirements. • Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process, including match-moving, keying, rotoscoping, clean-up, creating mattes, projection mapping, and layering of elements, using Adobe After Effects, Foundry Nuke, Boris Silhouette, Mocha Pro, and PF Track. • Enhancing the lighting, matching blacks and other color levels, adding grain where required, adding motion blur where needed, creating convincing shadows, and color grading. • Research and develop the best design techniques and solutions to create VFX & motion graphics.
