What can a Grok Bot actually do on its own?
It runs on its own cloud computer with a browser, files and logins, so it works your apps the way a person does and finishes multi step tasks end to end. Prospecting, CRM updates, inbox triage, expense filing, report pulling, recruiting coordination. You message it like a teammate.
Do I need my own Grok subscription?
Yes, a paid one. Grok Bot is xAI technology and now comes with any paid SuperGrok or Cursor plan, starting around 30 dollars a month, so if you already pay for either you likely have it. The free tier does not include it. You own the account and pay xAI directly, and I build on top of it.
What does it cost to keep running after you build it?
Only your xAI or Cursor seat, paid directly to them. There is no software fee from me and no retainer unless you want one. Bot usage meters separately from your normal plan allowance, so I set usage guardrails and show you where to watch spend.
My tools have no API. Will it still work?
That is the point of Grok Bot. It signs into web apps and works the interface directly, so it handles internal portals, legacy systems and vendor dashboards that no integration platform can reach. If an API does exist I use it, because it is faster and less brittle.
What happens when a bot gets something wrong?
I configure guardrails before anything runs. Payments, outbound messages and deletions require your approval, and a bot escalates to a human when it is unsure instead of guessing. You get an audit trail of every action and a rollback plan for each routine.
