As Programme Coordinator and Project Manager for the Empretec India, (a flagship entrepreneurship programme of UNCTAD), I led the design and execution of high-impact capacity-building projects for MSMEs and startups. Managed and delivered multi-stakeholder projects including collaborations with UN Women and various State Governments, driving inclusive entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Spearheaded international and national delegations, including representing entrepreneurs at the World Investment Forum, Abu Dhabi, and leading exposure visits across Nagaland, Karnataka, and Gujarat. Built and maintained strategic partnerships with government bodies and institutions such as IOCL, WBIDC, and IDAN, facilitating policy dialogue, funding access, and ecosystem development. Worked closely with Indian and global entrepreneurs (UK, USA, Zambia, Ghana, Morocco, Malaysia, Australia), enabling business growth, cross-border linkages, and market expansion. Led entrepreneurship training, business development support, and stakeholder engagement aligned with Empretec’s behavioural and competency-based methodology. Drove programme impact through government liaison, enterprise mentoring, and ecosystem building, contributing to scalable and sustainable entrepreneurial ventures.
