Even the most grammatically minded writers need a fresh set of eyes! I proofread all genres and offer flexible packaging to meet the needs of any project. As a full-time writer and proofreader, I understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach for any project- or writer.
I began working as a Document Proofreading Specialist in 2022 after completing my BA in English and English Education. I'm currently completing an MA in Professional Creative Writing. I have previously worked as an English teacher and tutored k-12 students in English and writing. I also write and publish across genres.

If you are thinking, I don't need a proofreader, I've looked it over a million times...I say this with love, you're wrong, and you should hire Vanessa! Not only will she find things you never would, she is clear, professional, kind, and extremely thorough. She also delivers on a fast turnaround!! I cannot...

Vanessa was very quick and her comments were very thoughtful; she also responded super quickly when there was an upload error with the document to make sure I could see her comments. Excellent editor who caught commas I missed and made some super helpful content suggestions, as well!
