• Engineered a Distributed Quantitative Backtesting and Algorithmic Trading Engine in Python that dynamically parses user-defined logic to simulate and trade highly versatile multi-leg derivative strategies and automated portfolio rebalancing workflows. • Orchestrated asynchronous workload distribution by developing a dedicated Data API and Trade Manager service that interfaces with the web frontend and databases (Cassandra, PostgreSQL), utilizing Celery and RabbitMQ to independently queue backtesting requests and manage live trade lifecycles (e.g., enable, disable, reset). • Architected a low-latency (sub-millisecond) data pipeline for the trading engine that streams external WebSocket data into a Redis database, enabling high-speed storage and API delivery. • Built a scalable, multi-broker service utilizing a stateless architecture, with distributed session management in Redis to ensure seamless API handling across all instances. • Ensured SEBI regulatory compliance by provisioning a multi-IP instance on Utho Cloud and engineering a proxy-based routing system within the broker service to map managed family and user accounts to designated static IPs. • Facilitated further SEBI compliance by open-sourcing the broker service, enabling users to self-host their own instances and seamlessly connect them to the core trading platform. • Streamlined deployment workflows by containerizing all application microservices (Docker) and implementing GitHub Actions to fully automate image builds and CI/CD pipelines. • Reduced operational costs by physically assembling and networking a custom on-premises Ubuntu server farm and NAS, deploying an RKE2 Kubernetes cluster on top of the configured bare-metal infrastructure to orchestrate the distributed microservices.
