I will edit and master your audiobook for ACX.
Hi there! Have you recorded an audiobook, but you're having trouble getting it approved for ACX? Or, maybe you don't have the time to do the editing yourself, and need to outsource it? I'm your guy! I edit and master audiobooks for platforms like ACX/Audible all the time, and I would be happy to help you.
I use industry standard hardware and software to work on your audio. Tools such as RX 8 Advanced software allow me to correct problems with audio and get your audiobook approved.
So, how does it work?
- You will place your order by entering the run time of your audiobook when checking out. Enter the total number of minutes for your audiobook, and this will help determine the price.
- Select any gig extras you need, such as Proofing or Extra Fast Delivery, prior to finishing your order. Explanations for these extras are found in the FAQ section below.
- Make payment, and then provide the audio files and any other direction that may aid me in editing your audio.
PLEASE NOTE: the proofing extra covers 1 hour of audio. If your book is longer, add additional proofing extras for each additional hour.

What is included in the base price?
I include coverage of the basic ACX requirements: files must be at least 192kbps mp3, constant bit rate, 44.1khz. They must also measure between -23dB and -18dB RMS and have -3dB peak values. I also ensure the noise floor is -60db or lower to meet spec. Retail audio sample is also included.
What is proofing? Do I need it?
Normally, engineers don't listen to the whole book; we just edit the head and tail, do blanket audio treatment and deliver to you. Proofing is much more detailed; I would listen to the entire book and edit out bad takes, noises, and more. If you have those things in your audio, select this extra.
What is Extra Fast 1 Day Delivery?
For customers ordering the BASE package that need their audiobook edited for ACX in one day, please choose this gig extra when checking out. If you need proofing, however, I cannot deliver in one day unless the book is 60 minutes in length or less. If you need help choosing gig extras, message me.
My book is longer than an hour, what do I do?
1. Enter the total length of your audio. For instance, if it's 200 minutes, put 200 minutes in the order page. 2. If you need proofing, select the proofing extra. One proofing extra covers an hour of audio. Add one proofing extra per hour of audio as needed. If you need more than five, message me.
