Musescore is a free, powerful tool that allows you to hear playback of any piece. You can also use it as a rehearsal tool for your musicians or students. They can play along with only their part on the screen while the audio plays for the whole ensemble, and they can adjust the playback speeds for practicing. As a part of this gig, I will take your music scores (pdf) and produce a Musescore file that can be used as a practice tool for your musicians.
This is a great tool especially for school ensembles such as concert bands, orchestras, or marching bands. I was a trumpet player in school, and I wish that such practice tools existed when I was in band.

What files do you accept?
I accept PDF and JPG files of complete scores
Do you do transcriptions from audio?
I do not do transcriptions from audio. I require the PDF or JPG file of the sheet music to process into musescore.
Do you input the music manually into musescore or do you use some sort of scanning software?
I do everything manually because scanning software is not accurate enough for my standards
