FAQ
Should I send processed or dry vocals?
Please send dry vocals whenever possible. This gives me more control over the tuning and editing. If you only have processed vocals, you can send them over and I’ll check whether they can be worked with.
What if my vocals have noise, clicks, or unwanted sounds?
I can take care of basic vocal cleanup as part of the editing process. If the recording requires extensive noise removal or restoration, please contact me before ordering.
Can you work on multiple vocal tracks?
Yes. If your project has a large number of vocal tracks, send me the track count before ordering so I can make sure the package fits your project.
Can you fix vocals that are quite out of tune?
In most cases, yes. The result will depend on the original recording and how far the notes are from the intended pitch. If a vocal needs heavy correction, I may recommend sending a short sample before ordering.
Will the tuning sound obvious?
Not unless you want it to. My default approach is to keep the vocal natural and expressive. If you want a more noticeable Auto-Tune sound, that can be done as well.
Can you tune harmonies and backing vocals?
Yes. Additional vocal parts such as harmonies, doubles, and backing vocals can be tuned as well. The number of tracks may affect the final price.
Can you match the tuning style of a reference song?
Yes. If you have a specific vocal sound in mind, you can include a reference and let me know what you like about it. I can use it as a guide for the overall tuning style.
