I worked as a 3D CAD Designer and Product Development Specialist for a company that was struggling to turn product concepts, sketches, and ideas into accurate, functional, and manufacturing-ready CAD models. Their existing designs often had dimensional errors, fitting issues, poor component alignment, and unclear technical details, which caused repeated revisions, prototype delays, and difficulties communicating requirements with manufacturers. I helped solve these challenges by carefully analyzing their sketches, reference images, dimensions, and functional requirements and transforming them into precise 3D CAD models and technical drawings. I designed individual components, assemblies, and product prototypes while ensuring proper dimensions, tolerances, clearances, alignment, and compatibility between parts. I also reviewed the designs for potential manufacturing problems and made improvements to simplify production and reduce unnecessary revisions. Throughout the project, I maintained clear communication, provided regular updates, incorporated feedback, and delivered revisions according to the company's requirements. As a result, the company was able to reduce design errors, minimize revisions, improve communication with manufacturers, and move from concept to prototype more efficiently. The final CAD models provided a reliable foundation for prototyping and production while helping save valuable development time and costs.
