 Managed the complete procurement lifecycle for 25+ suppliers across Atlas Honda, Atlas DID, and Atlas Engineering, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective sourcing.  Coordinated 100+ international shipments per month, overseeing trade terms, payment documentation, import compliance, and port clearances in collaboration with 7 freight forwarders and 3 clearing agents.  Prepared and submitted the annual Engineering Development Board (EDB) quota for Atlas Honda, Atlas Engineering & Atlas DID, managing material consumption data worth more than 100 billion and forecasting future requirements.  Executed a cost-optimization strategy by reallocating quotas of multi-sourced components to the most cost-efficient vendors, generating annual savings of PKR 5 million.  Negotiated fixed monthly freight rates across 10+ major trade lanes from China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Japan, securing annual savings of PKR 5 million.  Oversee the efficient operations of the import department, ensuring smooth communication with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.  Collaborate with suppliers and inventory planners to manage accurate and timely movement of international goods.  Secure the best freight rates while ensuring goods arrive within required timeframes.  Arrange insurance coverage for shipments and implement corrective action plans to optimize processes.  Open and manage Letters of Credit (LCs)/contracts, and prepare purchase orders based on Proforma Invoices.  Coordinate with banks for LC/contract issuance and follow up on amendments, additions, or deletions as required.  Maintain comprehensive records of all in-transit consignments and ensure compliance with import regulations.   Notify warehouses of expected arrivals to streamline receiving and storage operations.  Maintain all import documentation, including LC entries, Proforma Invoices, Purchase Orders, and shipment records in software systems.
