• Design, install, configure and maintain IP and analog CCTV surveillance systems for residential and commercial environments. Includes CCTV testing, commissioning and fault troubleshooting. • Install and maintain access control systems, electric perimeter security fencing and intrusion alarm systems. • Deploy and troubleshoot structured network infrastructure using Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat7 cabling. • Configure PoE switches, routers, wireless access points and network infrastructure supporting security systems. • Configure CCTV systems for secure remote access and network-based monitoring. • Diagnose hardware, software, networking and communication faults across integrated security systems. • Conduct preventive maintenance, system inspections, equipment replacement and system restoration. Apply corrective fault-finding where required. • Consult with clients to understand operational requirements and recommend appropriate security and technology solutions. • Procure CCTV, networking, computing, wireless and security equipment from multiple technology vendors. • Provide technical training and user orientation following system installation and commissioning. • Coordinate technical activities and supervise project execution where required. • Research and evaluate emerging networking and security technologies and develop practical solutions around client requirements.
