What do you need from me to start working?
1. Plan of the building, the best would be architectural CAD drawings, but hand draw plans are also OK 2. Markups of elements that need to be included (in PDF) 3. Name of the building, yours (or your client's) logo, address 4. Room names 5. Video showing the interior might be helpful too
Do you know government's requirements for evacuation diagrams?
Yes, I know Australian requirements, which are quite restrictive, so other countries can be easy to do for me.
How fast can you make the diagrams.
If I have good informations (PDF with plan and markups for extinguishers, routes, Exits, assembly point etc.) then I am able to make one place within one day.
What's the advantage of working with you?
1. Mostly I am able to catch if there is something wrong with your markups or plan itself 2. After my 1st submission, when you'll back with revision (as comments in PDF), the next diagrams you'll receive, will have your comments. This way it is much easier for you to follow the changes
What is pricing scheme for these diagrams?
First, I need to redraw a layout you will provide, which is $60 and then each diagram with "YOU ARE HERE" symbol cost $15 for up to 10 diagrams (for one place). Next 9 diagrams (from 11 to 20) will cost 10% less ($13.50 per each) next 10 (21 to 30) will cost 20% less ($12 per each) and so on.
Can you make diagrams in portrait mode?
Yes, I can make portrait and horizontal diagrams.
Can you decide where to put all elements?
No, my offer is to engineers who know where to put all elements, but have no skills or time to make a good looking diagrams.
Is one place that have a more than one building is counted as one layout?
No, if building have lets say 3 different buildings, then it will be 3 layouts (3×$60). Also, sometimes places have a huge buildings which need to be split into few to make it easy to read, then there is also counted as more than one layout.
Can you make a custom template of diagram for me?
Normally, I have one template to use, but if you want, I can prepare the template that will include what you need. Your template can have color scheme, fonts etc.
