Hi. Mein Name ist Susanne. Als begeisterte Leserin mit einer Leidenschaft für Geschichten lese ich etwa zwei Bücher pro Woche. Während ich hauptsächlich literarische Fiktion und Klassiker gelesen habe, habe ich mich in den letzten Jahren mehr in Richtung Romance und Genre-Fiction bewegt. Mein Leben lang habe ich in der Kunstwelt in den Vereinigten Staaten gearbeitet und mache derzeit meinen Master in Kunstgeschichte in Schweden.
Mein Beta-Leseprozess besteht aus zwei Schritten.
1. Ein ungefiltertes Lesen, so wie ich jedes Buch lesen würde.
2. Ein detailliertes Lesen mit Kommentaren, die überall eingefügt werden. Hierbei konzentriere ich mich auf Stellen, bei denen ich das Schreiben verwirrend fand, Szenen, die zu lange dauern, das Ende, das zu früh kommt, und alles, was mich dazu bringt, zurückzublättern oder aus der Geschichte auszusteigen. Ich achte auch auf:
- Charakterlikability, Aufbau, Entwicklung und Konsistenz
- Glaubwürdigkeit der Action und Szenen, Kontinuität
- Handlung und Tempo
- Weltenaufbau
- Ton und Perspektivenkonstanz
- Leichte Sprache: Syntax, Rechtschreibung und Wortwahl
