1. System Maintenance and Support Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications. Perform routine system maintenance and updates. 2. Network Management Set up and manage LANs, WANs, and other network configurations. Troubleshoot network connectivity problems. Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other measures. 3. User Support Provide technical assistance to end-users, both on-site and remotely. Train users on new technologies and software. Manage IT helpdesk requests and ensure timely resolution. 4. Hardware Management Install and configure hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and servers. Repair or replace faulty equipment as needed. Manage hardware inventory and procurement. 5. System Security Ensure the integrity and security of IT systems and data. Perform regular backups and recovery operations. Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and best practices. 6. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and incidents. Create technical manuals and user guides for systems and applications. Provide reports on IT system performance and issues.
