Was muss ich Ihnen schicken? Was sind STEMS?
Du musst mir einzelne Tracks (Stems) deines Songs schicken, die zueinander synchron sind.
Wie exportiere ich Tracks (Stems) aus meiner DAW?
Markieren Sie den Anfang und das Ende Ihres Songs mit Locators, damit alle Titel synchron sind. Fahren Sie dann mit dem Exportfenster Ihrer DAW fort, in dem Sie alle Spuren einzeln für den Export markieren (dies variiert je nach DAW). Vergessen Sie nicht, in Echtzeit zu exportieren, wenn Sie über VST/Midi verfügen
Was ist der Unterschied zwischen MISCHEN und MASTERING?
Kurz gesagt – Mischen ist ein Prozess, bei dem Sie jeden einzelnen Track besser klingen lassen und sie alle zusammen gut klingen lassen, während das Mastering den Gesamtsound bearbeitet und den Song auf kommerzielles Niveau bringt.
Schritte in Ihrem MIXING- und MASTERING-Prozess?
Mixing: Noise Cleanup, Track Volume Leveling and Panning, EQ, Compression, DeEsser, Effekte (Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Tube Amps etc.) für jeden Track einzeln, Track Automation, Side-Chaining etc... Mastering: Post EQ, Komprimierung, Begrenzung, Stereoabbildung, harmonischer Exciter, Sättigung
Welches analoge Equipment verwendest du?
Ich verwende eine Dangerous D-Box und kann bis zu 4 Instrumentengruppen oder den gesamten Mix-Bus an einen Avalon VT-747SP senden, wo ich die analogen Farben und Aromen hinzufüge
Kann ich Ihnen DRY- und WET-Tracks (mit Effekten) schicken?
Ja, das kannst du, wenn du einige Tracks mit Effekten, Kompression, EQ oder anderem bearbeitet hast, kannst du mir diese sowie die DRY-Tracks schicken (derselbe Track WET & DRY zählt als 1). Dann tauschen wir Meinungen darüber aus, welche im endgültigen Mix verwendet werden sollen.
Kann ich Ihnen meinen Mix als Richtlinie schicken?
JAWOHL! Das macht die Kommunikation viel einfacher, da ich genau weiß, welche Art von Effekten oder Sound Sie auf Ihrem Track haben möchten.
