Designed and developed a complete full-stack, AI-powered E-Waste Management System aimed at enabling responsible electronic waste disposal, recycling, and value recovery through a modern web platform. Project Overview: The system helps users classify e-waste, locate certified recycling facilities, estimate resale or scrap value, schedule pickups, and complete payments securely — all within a single, scalable application. Key Features & Contributions: • Implemented AI-based e-waste classification to categorize items as recyclable, reusable, or hazardous using image inputs • Built a facility locator with map integration to display verified recycling centers and user location • Developed a rule-based value estimation engine for resale and scrap pricing • Designed slot-based pickup scheduling with booking confirmation • Created a custom marketplace for buying, selling, and donating e-waste items • Integrated Razorpay payment gateway for secure online transactions • Implemented user authentication and role-based access control • Ensured secure data handling and scalable backend architecture Technical Stack & Architecture: • Frontend built with modern UI components for a smooth user experience • Backend developed using FastAPI (Python) with RESTful APIs • Database designed to handle users, listings, bookings, and transactions efficiently • Followed clean API design, modular architecture, and production-ready practices This project demonstrates my ability to build real-world, end-to-end full-stack applications combining AI features, payments, maps, and secure backend systems.
