Almost daily since 2022, I've been both reading and illustrating tarot. I use the cards in a way that names the things people already know about themselves and their situations that they don't want named; a mirror that shows where accountability is being avoided and humility has yet to be earned.
Moreover, years in the funeral industry taught me that a room with silent bodies isn't necessarily quiet. When aiming a spread at someone who has passed on, I can only promise to listen; not that they have answered.
