Severn Duo is a professional string-playing duo which can offer professional quality string recordings and arrangements of solo and string ensemble of any size for your projects.
Tom and Jess met whilst studying together at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Since graduating, they live and work together as professional musicians with their string ensemble, Severn Duo, and have appeared in multiple CD recordings as well as TV and game soundtracks, recording from their purpose-built studio in Lancashire, UK.

Everything went smoothly, I received very good recordings in a timely fashion. I didn't give much room for creativity in this piece but Tom was very professional and easy to work with.

Our second time getting recordings from Tom, always absolutely brilliant work. We had previously ordered a Cello solo part to a song on our previous album and this time we needed a part performed by a String Quartet. Tom M & Jess, the Severn Duo, did a GREAT job of our first experience producing a song with a String Quartet format. It sounds so beautiful I almost cried! No really, they made the emotion ring through and the melody shine! We will come back to them for any future String Quartet or other string projects...

I've worked with Tom and Jess a good number of times now, and every time it gets better and better. They bring so much love and life to my little songs that I'm always left blown away.
