Shopify's new customer accounts no longer run on theme Liquid templates. Every custom feature in the account area is now built as a Customer Account UI Extension, deployed privately to your store.

FAQ
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. Customer account extensions work on all Shopify plans. Only B2B-specific account features require Plus.
Do I need the new customer accounts?
Yes. Extensions only run on Shopify's new customer accounts, not the legacy version. If you're still on legacy accounts, I can check what switching means for your store before we start.
Which package fits my project?
Display for read-only info on one page, Interactive when customers edit data or you need one app connected, Full-Page for a new account page with its own data. Message me and I'll confirm before you order.
Can you connect my existing app or database?
Yes, if it has an API. Loyalty, subscription and returns apps are common, as well as your own database (e.g. Supabase). One data source is included in Full-Page; more are quoted separately.
Can I style it in my brand?
Extensions use Shopify's native components, which take your brand colours, fonts and logo from the checkout and accounts editor. Fully custom CSS or pixel-matched designs aren't possible in customer accounts.
Will this affect my theme or checkout?
No. Extensions run in their own sandbox, separate from your theme and checkout, so they won't break other parts of your store.
Do I pay monthly app fees?
No. The extension is deployed privately to your store only, with no App Store listing and no monthly fee from me. External services you already use keep their own plans.
What's not included?
App Store submission, extra data sources beyond your package, data migration, and changes to email tools or external systems. I quote those separately so the scope stays clear.
What do you need to get started?
Collaborator access to your store, a short description of the feature, and API docs or access for any external service. Screenshots or a reference site help a lot.
What happens after delivery?
I test on desktop and mobile, deploy, and show you where to place and switch the extension in your admin. Revisions within your package cover adjustments to the delivered feature.
