FAQ
Do you keep my script private?
Yes. Your script and project details remain confidential. I do not share or publish your work. An NDA can also be discussed if required.
What file formats do you accept?
I can work with PDF, Word, Final Draft (.fdx), Fade In, Celtx, or plain text. Please message me if you have another format.
Will you change my story or writing style?
No. My goal is to improve your script while preserving your voice and creative vision. Structural suggestions are provided as notes unless you specifically order rewriting.
What is the difference between proofreading and line editing?
Proofreading focuses on errors such as spelling, grammar, punctuation, and consistency. Line editing focuses more deeply on dialogue, wording, clarity, flow, and unnecessary text.
Do you edit feature films and TV pilots?
Yes. I work with feature films, short films, TV pilots, web series, and other screenplay formats.
Can I see the changes you make?
Yes. Depending on the package, I can provide a clean version and a marked-up version so you can review the edits.
Can you rewrite parts of my script?
Yes. Selected scene rewrites are available with the Premium package. Please message me first if you need extensive rewriting.
Do you guarantee that my script will sell or win a contest?
No. No editor can guarantee that. My role is to help make your script cleaner, more polished, readable, and professionally presented.
Can you edit a script longer than 120 pages?
Yes. Additional pages can be added to the order. Please message me first for scripts longer than 120 pages so I can provide the appropriate offer.
