The right service depends on your manuscript’s current condition. Developmental editing focuses on structure, pacing, organization, and content. Line and copy editing improve clarity, flow, grammar, and consistency, while proofreading corrects final errors. Send me your word count and I’ll recommend
Do you edit all genres and types of books?
Yes. I work across genres and categories, including fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, self-help books, children’s books, workbooks, ebooks, and more. Because every manuscript is different, please message me with a short description of your book before ordering.
Will you preserve my writing style and voice?
Absolutely. My goal is not to rewrite your book in my voice. I strengthen your structure, sentences, clarity, and readability while preserving your tone, message, personality, and creative intention.
Is every manuscript edited manually?
Yes. Every manuscript is carefully read and edited by me. I do not rely on one-click or automatically generated edits. Each change is made thoughtfully according to your book’s needs, audience, and purpose.
What will I receive after the editing is completed?
Depending on your package, you can receive a tracked-changes copy showing the edits and a clean revised copy with the changes applied. Developmental editing or manuscript critique projects may also include detailed feedback and recommendations.
Can I request a free sample edit before ordering?
Yes. I offer a free sample edit of up to 500 words so you can review my editing approach before placing an order. Please send the sample together with a brief description of the service you need.
Is book formatting included with editing?
Book formatting is available but is not automatically included in every editing package. I provide Amazon KDP paperback formatting, ebook formatting, and professional interior layout. Editing and formatting can be combined in a custom package.
Do you also provide book cover design?
Yes. Professional book cover design is available as an additional service. I can help create a cover that suits your book’s genre, message, audience, and publishing platform.
Which file formats do you accept?
Microsoft Word documents are preferred for book editing because they allow tracked changes and comments. I can also review Google Docs or other common formats. For formatting and cover design, please contact me so I can confirm the required files.
Will my manuscript remain private and confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript, ideas, and personal information will be treated as private and confidential. I will never share, publish, reuse, or distribute any part of your work without your permission.
