FAQ
Do I need coding skills to run this?
No. I install it, configure it, and show you how to start and stop it. If you can open a terminal and paste one command, you can run what I hand you. The rest is in your written setup notes.
Do I need my own xAI API key?
Yes. The key is billed to you by xAI and stays in your account. If you do not have one, say so before ordering and I will walk you through getting it and what it will cost at your usage.
What will the API cost me each month?
Depends entirely on how much the bot runs. A personal assistant answering a few messages a day is a few dollars. A bot processing hundreds of jobs is more. Tell me the workload and I will estimate before you order.
Do you need remote access to my computer?
For a local install, yes, over a screen share you start and end. You watch everything I type. I do not need your passwords and I never ask to be left alone on your machine. A VPS install needs no access to your computer at all.
Should this run on my machine or a VPS? Do you provide one?
Local is fine if you only need the bot while your computer is on. A VPS keeps it awake all the time. I do not resell servers, but I will provision and harden one you own as an extra, or tell you which provider to use.
What can the bot actually do once it is running?
Anything you can describe as a repeatable task. Replying in Telegram, pulling data on a schedule, triggering n8n workflows, drafting content. Send me the task you have in mind and I will confirm it before you order.
Can you set up OpenClaw, Jarvis or Hermes instead?
Yes. Same family of work, same install problems. Tell me which one you are trying to run and what you want it to do, and I will tell you whether Grok or one of the others actually fits better.
Will it break when Grok or xAI updates?
It can. These tools move fast and APIs change. That is why I leave you written setup notes and the source, so a rebuild is an hour rather than a mystery. Ongoing support is available as an extra if you want me on call.
Do you keep access to my bot or my keys?
No. It runs on your machine or your server, under your account, with your keys. I store nothing, and nothing I set up depends on me still being around afterwards.
What if it will not run on my machine?
Tell me your operating system and specs before ordering and I will check first. If something turns out to be genuinely incompatible mid order I move it to a VPS or refund you. I do not bill you for a wall.
