Electrical Design Engineer – Renewable Energy Systems * Successfully executed over 60 PV, hybrid, and energy storage system designs per year for commercial and industrial clients. * Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, BOQs, and tender documents aligned with client requirements, budgets, and industry standards. * Conduct system modelling for PV + BESS + DG, PV + DG, and PV + BESS systems using PVsyst and HOMER Energy to assess feasibility, performance, LCOE, and ROI. * Develop detailed technical drawings and documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Multi-Line Diagrams (MLDs), and electrical schematics, to support both proposals and project execution. * Lead construction and commissioning of grid-tied and hybrid solar projects up to 1.1 MWp, consistently delivering ahead of schedule and optimising resource utilisation. * Provide on-site technical guidance during project execution to ensure installed systems strictly follow approved designs and specifications. * Conduct site assessments, energy audits, load profiling, and system optimisation to ensure cost-effective and reliable solar PV and hybrid energy solutions. * Support commissioning activities including system testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and project handover. * Perform detailed energy modelling and load audits for commercial and industrial PV systems using PVsyst and Microsoft Excel. * Assist in financial modelling, feasibility studies, and investment analysis for PV projects to guide clients on system ROI and optimal configurations.
