Completed a 10-week internship developing an ESP32-S3-based autopilot flight controller for a drone project. Worked across the full embedded stack: IMU sensor integration and calibration, FreeRTOS task scheduling, PID-based stabilization algorithms, CAN bus communication, and servo actuation control. Also contributed to PCB design and schematic layout in Altium Designer, including component selection and pin mapping for sensors, communication modules, and power circuitry. Debugged and resolved over a dozen hardware and firmware issues during incremental testing — including IMU calibration errors, WiFi/UDP communication failures, and sensor data flooding — while progressing the system through staged testing (sensor-only → sensor+wireless → full actuation). Delivered a complete project report and technical documentation summarizing the system architecture and development process.
