I have hands-on experience in building electrical design and planning for residential and commercial projects, delivering complete and coordinated electrical plans, electrical drawings, and electrical design layouts. My work begins with reviewing architectural drawings and project requirements, followed by structured electrical planning, scope definition, and system coordination. My responsibilities include load calculation and demand estimation, preparation of lighting layouts and lighting plans, power and small power distribution design, solar system design, lightning protection system design and detailed MEP electrical drawings developed using AutoCAD Electrical. I prepare clear and accurate electrical schematics, single line diagrams (SLD), load schedule, earthing system design and system layouts to ensure safe, reliable, and maintainable installations. I am experienced in selecting appropriate cable sizes, circuit breakers, BBT riser protective devices, and busbars based on load and safety requirements. I also develop panel schedules, load charts, and BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for electrical panels, conduits, cables, and equipment, supporting accurate costing and execution. Throughout each project, I focus on code-compliant electrical design, proper equipment numbering, organized documentation, and final system checks before submission. My approach emphasizes clarity, safety, and practicality, ensuring designs are ready for construction and inspection.
