This is my first fiverr gig, so I am keeping my price low to keep the risk low to you, and the time commitment low to me as I figure out how to make this work.

I will provide a basic python script to run on a system which you provide. I can send the script to you to run, or you I can set it up if you give me access to your Linux or Unix server.
The basic functionality will be minimal. Select this if you just want to see how I operate or if you have some local data you need processed.
Basic:
Input, output and arguments, e.g.
yourscript.py -i foo.csv -o report.txt
More features:
Fetch a web page, send an email, etc.
yourscript.py -i http://example.com/data.json -d backups/
Premium features:
Download data and do some analysis, it could be stock data or text analysis. You provide the data source. I will tell you if the analysis is feasible within the scope of the gig.

How can I get more functionality?
We can iterate on the script with new gig requests. Talk to me and we'll break down your project into pieces.
I am not familiar with Linux. How can I use the script your provide?
If you can provide a host and login credentials, I'll set it up for you and show you how to use it. If setting up hosting is an issue, I can help with that, too. If it turns out to be a common problem, I'll create a new gig for provisioning AWS/digital ocean/etc.
