FAQ
What file formats will I receive?
Schematic PDF, Gerber (RS-274X), NC drill, BOM, pick-and-place/CPL, and the editable project source in KiCad/Altium/EasyEDA. STEP 3D model available on request.
Can the Gerbers be uploaded straight to JLCPCB or PCBWay?
Yes. Every board is checked against your chosen fab's design rules, and I include a ready-to-upload ZIP with the correct stack-up and drill files.
Will the board be low-noise / hum-free?
Yes. I use star grounding, separate analog and power returns, ground planes, correct trace widths and star power distribution — that's the whole point of a dedicated audio layout.
Do you design from just an idea, without a schematic?
Absolutely. Describe the function and limits (voltage, current, gain) and I'll design the schematic from scratch and confirm it with you before layout.
an you copy / improve my existing PCB?
Yes send photos, a PDF or the original files and I'll redraw it, remove errors and optimize the ground path.
Do you handle tube circuits and high voltage?
Yes. I design tube preamps and high-voltage supplies with proper creepage and clearance for safety.
