My goal is to provide honest, constructive feedback that helps you strengthen your story while staying true to your vision. I'll highlight what's working, identify opportunities for growth, and offer an unbiased perspective to help you move forward with confidence. That said, every suggestion is just that...a suggestion. No one knows your story better than you do.
Whether you're polishing your opening chapters or seeking feedback on a completed manuscript, I'll provide detailed in-manuscript comments and an editorial summary focused on story structure, pacing, character development, dialogue, worldbuilding, and overall reader experience.
As a final though, please know that integrity means a lot to me, both for myself, and the authors I am working with. Because of this, I find it important to state that I WILL NOT run any part of your story through an AI generator. I am a real person working on your story, and I look forward to working with YOU.

What genres do you edit?
I specialize in fiction, particularly YA fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian. I'm also happy to review other fiction genres, such as middle grade and children's books. If you're unsure whether your manuscript is a good fit, feel free to message me before ordering.
What type of editing do you provide?
I provide developmental editing, which focuses on the big-picture elements of your story, including plot, pacing, character development, dialogue, worldbuilding, and overall reader experience. This gig does not include copyediting or proofreading.
What will I receive?
You'll receive detailed comments throughout your manuscript, along with an editorial summary outlining your story's strengths and opportunities for growth. My goal is to provide honest, constructive feedback you can use to strengthen your manuscript.
Will you rewrite my manuscript?
No. My goal is to help you improve your story while staying true to your vision. I'll offer suggestions and identify areas for improvement, but every creative decision remains yours.
Can I send more than 100,000 words?
Absolutely! If your manuscript exceeds 100,000 words, simply purchase the additional word count extra or send me a message if you'd like help selecting the right option. Please note that you will not need to do this for the Basic or Standard Packages.
Do you edit AI-generated content?
No. I only provide developmental editing for original manuscripts written by the author.
Do you accept unfinished manuscripts?
For the Chapter Critique and Partial Review, yes. The Comprehensive Manuscript Review is intended for completed manuscripts.
Do you use Ai-generated apps and/or software when editing?
No. You will get a 100%, fully human developmental edit of your story and/or critique.
