I will be your virtual writing buddy to keep you on track

This is the first step in the process. Once you have chosen and booked your program, I will send you an initial email to get started. I will ask you about your current writing project, what your writing goals are, and what challenges you might be having.

After we agree to the date and time of a partnered writing session, I will send you a link to a virtual meeting. When the time comes, I will open the meeting, and you and I will talk briefly about your goals during the sessions. We will each focus on our own writing tasks, together.

Each email exchange--whether it's the weekly program or the 7-day program--starts with an email from me to you, and includes two additional follow-up emails from me to you. You can respond to each of these three emails with as much detail as you like, to help me understand your needs.

Writing something in response to a prompt is up to you, and is how you will get the most benefit from our interaction. With the weekly and 7-day programs, the writing you do will be up to you.

During our final session, we will talk about how you feel the program worked for you. I will leave you with a few more tips, tricks, and insights that will hopefully keep you motivated. You will get the chance to tell me what you got out of our experience together.

Based on our initial consult, I will create prompts that are tailored to your genre, interests, or area of focus.

I send and monitor emails between 6:00am and 8:00pm Pacific time. You can expect my first email of the day, on the day that we agreed upon, between 8:00 and 9:00am. My replies to your emails will take place throughout the day. Emails received after 6:00pm may not be responded to until the next day.
