FAQ
Will my app go down during the migration?
I back up your data and run the migration on a copy first. I switch your app to the new Supabase project only after it passes testing. If your app has live users, tell me and we’ll pick a quiet time to switch.
What do you need from me to start?
Your Lovable project or GitHub repo link, access to your Supabase project (or permission to create one), and whether the app uses Stripe, file storage or edge functions. Send these before ordering and I’ll confirm scope and price.
What happens to my users’ passwords and logins?
I check what can be carried over before I start and tell you the result up front. If passwords can’t move, your users get a one-time password reset. Either way, I test login and signup before handing over.
Do you fix RLS and “permission denied” errors?
Yes, in the Standard and Premium packages. I review and test the RLS policies on every table so users only see their own data. This covers data exposure only, not formal compliance such as SOC 2 or GDPR.
Can you migrate storage files, edge functions or Stripe?
Stripe webhook reconnection is in Premium. Storage files and edge functions depend on the project, so message me first with details and I’ll quote it. I won’t promise them in a package I haven’t scoped.
What if something breaks after delivery?
Revisions cover issues related to the work I delivered, within the package’s revision count. If something unrelated breaks later, message me and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a quick fix or a new order.
