Hi there!
My name is Raquel Gomes and I'm a singer, vocal coach and voice teacher based in São Paulo, Brazil.
I've been working as a vocal coach and voice teacher for 19 years now. I have a degree in Music/Singing and I teach at the Conservatório Souza Lima (Souza Lima Conservatory of Music), in São Paulo. I've helped thousands of singers, from beginners to professionals, to take their vocal skills to their highest potential!
Whether you're a beginner or already a professional singer, I'll guide you through the process of achieving your best performance, also focusing on maintaining your vocal health so you can have a very long and successful career.
You'll have a special vocal training designed for you, every class! This way you'll know exactly what to practice on the following days, until our next online session.
I work with several different vocal techniques, but I mainly teach pop and musical theatre techniques. I'm also specialized in Brazilian musical genres like Bossa Nova and Samba.
It will be an honor to take care of your voice!

I'm a singer, songwriter and voice teacher based in São Paulo - Brazil.
I've been teaching and singing for a living for 18 years now. I was the vocalist of a symphonic metal band called Hydria for 7 years and released 4 albums with original songs. I mainly sing pop, edm, reggaeton, Brazilian funk, jazz, samba, bossa nova, rock/metal (clean vocals only), Broadway and so on! I teach vocal technique at Conservatório Souza Lima (Souza Lima Music Conservatory) here in São Paulo.

I'm about to book my first lesson with you! What can I expect from it?
Please contact me first, so I can make you a custom offer with a special discount for your 1st lesson - $15 for a 30 min evaluation session! In this session, I'll evaluate your vocals and skill level, give you feedback and tell you how I plan to work on your voice based on your needs.
How will I book my online vocal lesson after placing my order?
After you place your order, I'll contact you right away so we can check our schedules and book our online session! You might need to consider the fact that we'll probably be in different timezones - so it's nice to check that and contact me before placing your order.
What do I need to have to make the most out of our online lesson?
First you need to have a good internet connection and a pair of earphones or headset with a decent microphone (no need to have a professional microphone at all)! Besides that, get your water bottle next to you and bring great energy - then you're ready to start!
I wasn't born a "natural singer". Will I be able to learn how to sing beautifully?
Yes, of course honey! Singing requires consistency, dedication and the right practice routine designed for YOUR needs. Once you learn the techniques, you'll be able to sing beautifully! Singing is not just something you are born doing, but something you can LEARN!
