It involved setting up an infrastructure environment in Oracle Cloud, integrating a pretrained hosted model for English, and deploying a custom Hugging Face model to support dialects like Swahili and Kinyarwanda. The solution aimed to improve search relevance and accessibility for diverse user groups. # Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipeline for Insight Summarization This PoC focused on building a RAG pipeline leveraging LangChain and Oracle 23ai DB as a vector store to generate meaningful summaries of insights from structured event data. The solution processed three key datasets: Insights Data (event metadata, location, intensity, and timeline) Event Impact Data (population, infrastructure capacity, severity, and geospatial impact) Shape Impact Data (quadkey-based geospatial severity mapping) By embedding and retrieving relevant context from these datasets, the pipeline enabled automated summarization of insights, enhancing analytical capabilities for event-driven decision-making. # In addition to my main duties, I : - Mentoring engineers. - Conducting technical interviews (Data Structures, Algorithms and System Design)
