Do you guarantee the drawings will be approved by my building department?
I cannot guarantee approval since each jurisdiction has different reviewers and requirements. However, I produce drawings that follow IRC/IBC code standards and include all the sheets most departments require. Many clients submit successfully on the first attempt.
What do you need from me to get started?
Ideally: a rough sketch or existing floor plan (even a hand-drawn one), your lot dimensions or site address, and your local jurisdiction name. If you have nothing yet, we can start from a conversation about your project, just message me first.
Can you work with projects outside the US?
Yes. I work to US (IRC/IBC), UK (Building Regulations), Canadian (NBC), and Australian (NCC) standards. Let me know your country and jurisdiction when ordering so I can apply the correct code references and title block format.
Do you provide a licensed architect's stamp?
Stamping requires a licensed architect registered in your state or country and is a separate service. I can prepare all the drawings to a stamp-ready standard and refer you to a licensed professional for the seal if needed.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive AutoCAD .dwg files and print-ready PDF sheets as standard. DXF format is available on request at no extra charge.
