Darrin Nupuf lives in Los Angeles, California. His art career He began in early 1985 exploring a passion for photography and design. In 1986 he started Progressive Images offering photography, illustration, silk screen color separation and design services. Darrin also simultaneously worked in the print industry as a dark room tech and film composing technician for large offset printing plates. Darrin started working in the motion picture industry as a Set decorator and later Sign-Writer Local 729. Progressive Images evolved into Proimages Communications a prop-making and 3D animation boutique. In The 1990’s Darrin become immersed in high-end 3D and motion graphics and began offering advanced design and web services. Darrin has always maintained an interest in photography and the fine arts and has started release images from his extensive collections of slides, illustrations and digital images. He is also pursuing his roots in traditional oil painting and fine art print making and preparing a collection of serigraph prints and etchings for future shows. After 30 years Darrin has remained passionate about film making, design and fabrication. Darrin has been developing a number of stop motion animated projects and seeking funds to produce these projects. The world has changed for artists but the traditional arts remain his passion and his designs are moving into complete off grid solutions that offer both form and function.
