I’m a Product Analyst at Squirrel Soft-tech, working on Control Tower, an infrastructure management platform. I joined in May 2026, and my work sits between product, testing, development and clients. I test the platform’s modules, including Asset Register, Engineering Drawing Management, Scheduling, Contracts and Subcontracts, Snag Management, Health Safety and Environment, and Dashboards and Reports. I run functional, regression and end-to-end testing and check every feature against the business requirements. When I find a defect, I document it with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results and screenshots, then retest the developers’ fix until it’s closed. I also analyze gaps in the existing product and write BRDs that cover functional requirements, business rules, workflows and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements. I compare the developers’ documentation with how the application actually behaves, and I review UI consistency and usability across layouts, forms, tables and navigation. I validate cross-module workflows to make sure data is saved, updated and displayed correctly, and I flag any broken flows or missing steps. With clients, I prepare sample data, deliver product demos and collect their feedback. I use that feedback, along with the workflow gaps I find, to recommend roadmap enhancements, and I validate them after release.
