Provided end to end book design solutions, including custom cover design, interior formatting, typography selection, layout creation, and production preparation. Key responsibilities included: • Designing custom paperback, hardcover, and dust jacket covers with professional layouts, strong visual hierarchy, and genre appropriate branding. • Creating clean, consistent, and reader friendly book interiors using Adobe InDesign, including chapter layouts, headings, tables, images, and special formatting elements. • Formatting manuscripts for major publishing platforms such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and other print on demand services. • Preparing high quality print ready PDF files with accurate bleed settings, trim sizes, margins, fonts, image resolution, and spine calculations. • Reviewing manuscripts and applying proper formatting standards to ensure a smooth publishing workflow from draft to final file. • Collaborating closely with authors, publishers, and business clients to understand their creative vision and deliver designs that exceeded expectations. • Managing client feedback, handling revisions efficiently, and maintaining attention to detail throughout every stage of production.
