Continuing in my role as backend developer at Blunovation, where I first joined as an intern in 2020. Most recently, I joined an in-progress AI-powered music generation platform as backend developer, and over three months became the lead backend developer for the module, handling roughly 70% of all backend commits during my time on the project. Key contributions: - Designed and built a background job/worker architecture to orchestrate multi-step AI content generation (lyrics via OpenAI GPT, voice cloning/synthesis via ElevenLabs, song generation via MusicGPT) - kept the API fully async and non-blocking under load, replacing what would otherwise be long, timeout-prone synchronous HTTP calls. - Implemented rate-limiting and retry policies with exponential backoff to handle strict RPM/TPM limits from multiple external AI providers, cutting failed generations to a minimum. - Migrated the music-generation provider from Lalals to MusicGPT behind a shared integration abstraction, with no disruption to existing flows. - Designed a points-based subscription/credit system gating paid AI actions, with full transaction history, automatic monthly renewal, and refunds on failed generations. - Built voice-cloning and a searchable voice library with metadata, filtering, and audio preview.

Over three and a half years at Blunovation I worked across a wide range of production systems and industries - from blockchain platforms to manufacturing software to HR tools - as both an individual contributor and a team leader. Backend Team Leader, Web3/blockchain NFT marketplace (02/2022–11/2023): Led a team of 5 backend developers building a blockchain platform for buying and trading virtual land as NFTs (Binance Smart Chain smart contracts), running in production with thousands of active users. Designed and built the auction/marketplace engine from scratch (bidding, fixed-price sales, bulk sales, auction lifecycle), applied Domain-Driven Design, secured the API with JWT/OAuth2/2FA, added real-time updates via SignalR, and fixed a Cartesian-explosion performance issue in EF Core queries that was overloading the database server. Manufacturing software (2021–2024): Backend development on two production-monitoring products used by several manufacturing clients — an OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) system integrating with machines over OPC UA, and a CMMS system for maintenance scheduling, including a checklist-based inspection workflow and an interactive facility-map editor for locating machines. HR/time-tracking system (2021): Backend and frontend (Angular) work on a commercial time-tracking and project-budgeting product, including a two-stage leave-approval workflow and performance fixes that sped up list views under load. Cross-system integrations (2021): Built integrations with a client's HR system, Active Directory, SAP, and ServiceNow for an asset-management platform used by public-sector and healthcare organizations, including a from-scratch ServiceNow API integration. Led a cross-platform (Android/iOS) mobile app from zero to delivery — architected it in Qt/QML, picked up native iOS development along the way, and handed it off with full documentation.

Two-month task-based internship, working in parallel on two large, already-deployed production systems for a manufacturing client — a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and an ERP system (PHP/Yii, MySQL). On the WMS: built barcode-scan autofill for warehouse forms, automatic raw-material/product reservation for production orders, editing and bug-fixing for material-requirement views, and changes to warehouse document generation and printing. On the ERP: added new business-partner onboarding, IBAN validation for bank accounts, invoice generation and editing, employee work scheduling and task assignment, work-time logging, and reporting on production-order work summaries including a Gantt chart used for production planning. Across both systems I also created new database tables and migrations as part of larger assigned tasks. Starting from an existing, large, unfamiliar codebase, I had to independently work out the database and application structure before taking on tasks - all changes were reviewed and verified by my internship supervisor before being accepted.
