Designed and deployed an autonomous e-commerce fulfillment and revenue protection system that eliminated underpayment risks, reduced manual verification delays, and created a scalable order validation infrastructure. Built using n8n, Paystack API, Google Sheets, Gmail API, and real-time webhooks, this system solved a major operational issue for online businesses: revenue leakage caused by incorrect payments, inconsistent pricing references, and slow fulfillment decisions. The workflow intercepts Paystack payment events instantly, then applies Number() type-casting to normalize transaction values for accurate financial verification. This critical validation layer prevents errors caused by mismatched data formats and ensures every transaction is processed using clean numerical logic. Once normalized, each payment is cross-checked against SKU pricing stored in Google Sheets, which serves as the Single Source of Truth for approved product pricing, inventory references, and fulfillment conditions. Orders are only approved when payment amounts match verified SKU values exactly. Verified transactions automatically trigger fulfillment, while underpayments are blocked immediately—preventing revenue loss before operational resources are wasted. Gmail notifications and exception workflows provide seamless communication for flagged transactions.
