Acted as Tech Lead and developer on an automation project for Vale S.A., contributing to the technical definition and development of a desktop application focused on planning and optimizing railway operations. Developed, using JavaScript, Node.js, and Electron, an application capable of importing and processing Excel spreadsheet data and automatically generating operational schedules. Implemented a scheduling algorithm that considered arrival times, operation durations, idle periods, maintenance windows, and terminal availability. Developed schedule visualization through Gantt charts, pending task analysis, operational capacity calculations, and a dashboard for train management. Implemented local configuration persistence, inter-process communication within Electron, and PDF report generation. Automated a process that previously took approximately 2 hours, reducing its execution time to around 5 minutes.
