Über mich
Nuno Silva is a professional musician from Portugal, playing ethnic string instruments.
Having started his musical education deeply embedded in western culture, since 2010 he has embraced the tradition of makam music as his main influence. Self-taught for most of his career, throughout the years he had the opportunity of studying with masters which include Ali Bahramifard (santur), Gürsel Torun (oud), Tareq Jundi (oud), Muhittin Kemal (kanun), among others.
Currently, he collaborates with local and international music projects and pursues a solo career as session musician and producer.

absolutely phenomenal lesson, in only 60 minutes we covered our exercise and a song of my choosing. Nuno Silva is a phenomenal oud player and even greater teacher. I'll be coming back for me lessons
