Über mich

I am a Japanese-born university professor and literary translator. After majoring in English at a Japanese univ, I pursued graduate studies in linguistics in France, where I lived for seven years and became fluent in French. I have since built my life and career in Korea, and I also have firsthand experience living in the UK and the USA. I work fluidly across four languages bringing both academic rigor and creative sensitivity to everything I do.
