As a Freelance Beta Reader & Manuscript Reviewer, I help fiction authors see their stories from a fresh reader’s perspective before publication. I provide honest, thoughtful, and constructive feedback designed to help authors identify what is working, where readers may lose interest, and which parts of a manuscript could be strengthened. My reading experience covers romance, dark romance, fantasy, romantasy, thriller, horror, mystery, paranormal, YA, contemporary fiction, and other fiction genres. I pay close attention to the elements that shape the overall reading experience, including plot structure, pacing, character development, dialogue, emotional impact, tension, conflict, worldbuilding, story flow, clarity, continuity, and reader engagement. Depending on the project, my feedback can include chapter-by-chapter observations, overall manuscript impressions, character and plot analysis, pacing concerns, confusing or repetitive sections, emotional reactions, and practical suggestions for revision. I approach every manuscript as a reader first. Rather than simply pointing out problems, I explain how specific moments affect the reading experience and highlight opportunities to make the story clearer, stronger, more engaging, and more memorable. My goal is to give authors a reliable second pair of eyes before they share their work with a wider audience—helping them understand how their story may be experienced by its intended readers and giving them useful insights they can take into their revision process.
