Worked as a Software Engineer at Epic Lanka Technologies, contributing to real-world enterprise software projects and business-critical applications. During my experience, I worked with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, MySQL, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and Nginx. I was involved in developing backend services, REST APIs, business logic, database operations, validations, system integrations, and responsive frontend interfaces. I contributed to the development of a trade facilitation and business management platform, working across both backend and frontend components. My responsibilities included implementing new features, developing and integrating APIs, handling database operations, building business workflows, debugging issues, improving existing functionality, and maintaining application reliability. I gained practical experience in enterprise application development, including working with complex business requirements, relational databases, authentication and authorization, transaction handling, API communication, and performance considerations. I also gained hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Nginx, which helped me understand application deployment, containerization, reverse proxy configuration, and production environments. One of my key achievements was gaining strong experience in developing and maintaining software used in real business environments rather than only academic or demo projects. This improved my ability to understand existing codebases, solve technical problems, implement new requirements, and develop maintainable solutions without affecting existing functionality. This experience strengthened my skills in software architecture, clean coding practices, debugging, database development, API design, frontend integration, and production-focused engineering. It also taught me the importance of scalability, security best practices, performance, maintainability, and collaboration when building professional software. M
