I will optimize slow sql queries for sql server, oracle, mysql, postgresql
Senior SQL Server and Oracle Database Developer
Über diesen Service
Is your app slow, are reports timing out, or does a stored procedure take minutes to run? I'll find out why and fix it.
I'm a senior database and .NET developer with 23 years of experience in healthcare, banking and payments, including tuning a 2 TB Oracle database. I don't guess. I read the execution plan, find the real bottleneck, and give you a fix you can run right away.
What I do:
- Rewrite slow or broken queries and stored procedures (T-SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Design the right indexes and remove unused or duplicate ones
- Fix deadlocks, timeouts, and parameter sniffing problems
- Tune queries generated by Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORMs
- Design or redesign schemas for performance and future growth
What you get:
- Optimized SQL scripts ready to run, with rollback scripts
- Before and after timing so you can see the improvement
- A plain-English explanation of what changed and why
Your data stays safe. I work on a copy or a staging database, or from scripts and execution plans you send me. I never need production access.
Not sure which package fits? Send me your query and I'll tell you before you order.

FAQ
Do I need to give you database access?
No. Your query, the table definitions (CREATE scripts) and the execution plan are usually enough. A copy or staging database is optional.
Which databases do you support?
SQL Server and Azure SQL, Oracle, MySQL and MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
What if my query doesn't get faster?
I'll explain the cause and suggest the next step. If I can't improve it, we can cancel the order.
Can you fix slow Entity Framework code?
Yes. I tune both the LINQ and the SQL it generates.
Can you design a new database?
Yes. Choose Premium or message me for a custom design offer (ERD, tables, indexes, scripts).
