Most people who message me have the same problem. There's a thing in their head that needs to exist before anyone will take it seriously. An investor wants to see it, a customer wants to try it, a co-founder wants proof you're serious.
So I build it. Real logins, data that's still there tomorrow, buttons that do something when you press them. Not a mockup that falls over the moment anyone pokes at it.
Before I write a line of code I'll send your idea back to you as a short spec in plain English, and you tell me what I've got wrong. That part's free, takes about a day, and it's the reason these don't go sideways in week three.
What you end up with:
Prototypes will be up and running in my hosting. That makes things super easy for you in those early stages. Any other packages will be on your hosting. You'll get all the code in your own repository, and a written handover so whoever picks it up next isn't starting cold. Nothing tied to me. No monthly anything.
Tell me what it needs to do and I'll tell you straight whether that's two weeks, two months, or something you shouldn't be paying anyone to build yet.

FAQ
Will I own the code?
Yes, completely. It goes in your repository under your account and there's no licence, no subscription and nothing you keep paying me for. If you hire someone else next month they can pick it straight up.
What if I don't know exactly what I want yet?
That's normal and it's fine. Send what you have. I write it back to you as a short spec before any building starts, you correct the bits I got wrong, and we work from that.
Can another developer take it over later?
Yes, and it's built on the assumption that one eventually will. Standard ships plain, conventional code and a written handover. No unusual framework somebody has to learn first.
What's the difference between the prototype and the MVP build?
Basic is a prototype. It's live on a URL and you can click through every screen, but there are no logins and nothing is saved between visits, so it's for showing people rather than running on. Standard is the real thing: accounts, a database, data still there tomorrow.
What will it cost me to run?
Basic is on hosting I provide, so it costs you nothing. Standard and Premium run on your own account and card, usually a few pounds a month at this size. The spend is yours to control: I'll show you where the alerts and limits are and what I'd set them to, and you decide from there.
