FAQ
Which stack will you use?
Whatever fits your team and your hosting, not whatever I like. Node with Express or NestJS, Python with FastAPI or Django, or Laravel. If your frontend developer has a preference, that decides it. Tell me before you order.
Can you work with my existing frontend?
Yes, that is the common case. Send me the frontend repo or the screens and I will build the API to match what it already expects, so nothing on your side needs rewriting.
Do you write documentation?
Yes, every package. You get endpoint documentation and a Postman collection your frontend developer can import and start calling immediately. This is included, not an extra.
Who hosts it, and what does hosting cost?
You do, on your own account - Railway, Render, Fly, AWS or your existing host. Typically 5 to 20 dollars a month at early scale. I deploy it and hand over the credentials so nothing depends on me.
Will you set up the database as well?
Yes. Schema design is part of every package, and it happens before any code is written. A bad schema is the one mistake that is expensive to undo later, so I get it agreed with you first.
Can you add payments?
Stripe or Paystack, on the Backend plus package. That includes webhooks and the subscription states, which is the part people usually forget until it breaks in production.
Do you write tests?
Automated tests come with Backend plus. On the smaller packages I test manually and hand you the Postman collection so you can verify each endpoint yourself.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Revisions cover anything that does not match the agreed endpoint list. New endpoints beyond that scope are a small custom offer, quoted before I start, never mid-delivery.
