What do you need to get started with the setup?
I will need access to your Meta Business Manager (to manage Pixel/Dataset), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and your website backend (such as Shopify, WordPress, or custom site)
Why do I need Meta Conversions API (CAPI) if I already have the Facebook Pixel?
Standard browser-based Pixels lose up to 30-40% of data due to iOS 14+ updates, Safari ITP, and ad-blockers. Meta CAPI sends data directly from your website's server, ensuring 100% data accuracy for your ads.
Which platform will be used for the Server-Side Tracking container?
I primarily use Stape.io or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to host the Google Tag Manager (GTM) server container. Stape.io is highly recommended as it is cost-effective and very stable for e-commerce tracking.
What is Event Deduplication, and why is it important?
When we use both Browser Pixel and Server CAPI, Meta receives the same event twice (e.g., two Purchases). I setup unique Event IDs so Meta can deduplicate them and count only one unique action, preventing data duplication
