In this role, I led the technical growth of FANDEX, a sports stock market platform. I was responsible for expanding the app’s features and modernizing its architecture using XML for robust, high-performance user interfaces. The core of my work involved building a seamless connection between the app and the client's custom-developed APIs. Using Retrofit, I managed complex data syncing for various sports leagues, ensuring that team prices and user portfolios updated accurately across daily and season-long contests. I took full ownership of the app's stability—focusing on refactoring legacy code, fixing critical bugs, and optimizing performance to handle heavy user traffic. By bridging the gap between design requirements and backend logic, I ensured the application remained fast, scalable, and easy to maintain as the platform grew

As a Senior Android Developer, I took a lead role in modernizing and expanding a live application. My work was all about making the app faster, more reliable, and better-looking for its users. I used Jetpack Compose to build a fresh, modern interface that feels smooth and responsive. One of my main tasks was handling real-time data using Sockets, ensuring that information updated instantly without the user needing to refresh. I also integrated several complex APIs to bridge the gap between the app's front-end and the backend systems. Beyond just adding new features, I focused heavily on "under-the-hood" improvements—fixing old bugs, cleaning up the code, and optimising performance to make sure the app could handle more users without crashing or slowing down.
